As we integrate our heart-connection into our everyday experience, our true essence comes alive  and we take our unique and authentic place in the greater design that we are a part of

There are many times in our lives when we find ourselves challenged. The ways in which we’ve been accustomed to respond can suddenly prove ineffective, forcing us to take a closer look at the situations affecting us.

The whole fabric of our relationship to ourselves and to others may be in flux and the structure of our life may no longer be supporting us the way it did.

We may be searching for a new way of being that makes us feel authentic or that gives greater meaning to our life.

Or we may be asked to let go of assumptions and beliefs that don’t serve us any more, even though they proved to be valid up until now.

Times like these may feel like a test. However, very often it’s our innermost willingness to attune to the essence of who we truly are that is teasing us towards constructive change.

It can feel daunting to be in a situation like this and even quite scary if we don’t know what to do to bringing about positive change.

However, if we are willing to surrender and trust, it is as though a heightened awareness comes forth to meet our needs and to support us on our quest.

Surrendering is a process of letting go and loosening the grip with our reality, both internal and external, as we connect to our heart and feel into the awareness that it brings.

In the space of the heart we are asked to meet the unknown without fear or doubt and to trust that all is well, as if something inside us were guiding and supporting us.

As we detach from our ordinary perception of reality we can view the situations affecting us from a vantage point, which allows us to see things in a new light that can bring great clarity.

When we focus on the breath, we can let go more and more and, as we centre our awareness in the flow of each inhalation and exhalation, gently sink within, until all else falls away.

In the stillness, we become one with the breath, our first and foremost trusted companion, and the echo of a new awakened truth rings within us.

In this state there is no better, no worst, no more, no less.

In the silence of the breath, there just is. We simply witness and let go.

Here, we may become aware of the need to restrain from speaking out of a knowing and a  righteousness that is based on the assumptions that we’ve accepted as true.

We can readily let go of what others think of us and let them be, as we become authentic expression of our essence and embrace what rings true to us, allowing any judgement that we may harbour about ourselves to gradually dissolve.

This can mark a time of transformation and regeneration into a newly found awareness and, as our true self emerges and blossoms, we find that we stop reacting or feeling the need to make a stand for ourselves.

In connecting to the wisdom of our heart, we start living our life with conscious awareness and it can feel very refreshing, uplifting and affirming.

When we live our life from a heart-centred connection, we find a source of love for ourselves and others, that helps us anchor a deeper truth that unites, nurtures and supports us as well as the whole.
